The aim of the PE Department at Willows High School is to promote the school motto ‘Belong, Believe & Achieve’ by offering a broad and balanced programme of activities which will lead to an active and healthy lifestyle.

We believe that PE is unique in its ability to develop the 'whole' person.  We aim to empower the pupils with the knowledge, values, skills and personal qualities to be confident and enthusiastic to participate in sport and a range of physical activities. The Department provides opportunities for all pupils, regardless of ability to make progress and enjoy a healthy lifestyle.  We offer a curriculum which provides both a range of competitive sports and recreational sports.  We have good links with external agencies such as the 5x60 initiative, physical literacy initiative, community sports clubs and local leisure facilities.
